Trial Day at ISB

A Trial Day gives prospective students the opportunity to experience a normal school day at ISB and to get a genuine sense of how our school works in practice.

During the day, students meet teachers and future classmates, explore the school environment and take part in learning shaped by IB principles - active participation, inquiry, collaboration, discussion, independent thinking and making meaningful connections.

A Trial Day is not a test or an entrance examination. We do not expect visitors to perform or prove anything. We are happy for students to join lessons as much as they feel comfortable, but the main purpose is to give them an authentic experience of the school atmosphere and the way learning happens at ISB.

Our students naturally help visitors feel welcome, support them throughout the day and give them the opportunity to experience the school from a student’s perspective.

We believe that this kind of first-hand experience is an important part of choosing a school – not only for parents, but especially for the student.
