Governance of the International School of Brno (ISB)

The International School of Brno (ISB) is governed by a Board of Directors:

• Pauline Iványi (pauline(zavinac)ivanyi.cz)
• Jan Švihálek (jan.svihalek(zavinac)isob.cz)

The founding entity of the school is Brno International School s.r.o. (company ID: 07427735), registered in the Commercial Register and operating in accordance with Act No. 90/2012 Coll. on Commercial Companies and Cooperatives (the Business Corporations Act). This legal entity is represented by three statutory directors, who are the same individuals serving on the ISB Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors carries out its responsibilities in line with the school’s Guiding Statements (the ISB Mission Statement and Core Values). These principles form the foundation for all decision-making processes and organizational arrangements at ISB.

The Head of School is appointed by the Board of Directors. The position is currently held by Mr. Jan Švihálek.

Day-to-day management of the school is entrusted to the School Leadership Team (SLT), consisting of:

• Sara Akbari – Early Years & Primary Principal
