ISB Curriculum for Secondary
For English, Maths and Science, the learning objectives are taken from the Cambridge International Secondary 1 Curriculum. For more information, please visit Cambridge Secondary 1. The learning objectives for the remaining are key stage objectives from the British National Curriculum.
As an IB World School, our Secondary students also enjoy the same project and inquiry-based approach that are at the core of an IB education. This ensures that each of them is ready for the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13.

English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support Programme
For students who are just starting to learn English language or who wish to improve their English proficiency, ISB offers an English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support Programme. The aim of this programme is to help develop the necessary language skills to communicate effectively and enjoy their time in the classroom. The EAL Support Programme is designed to develop student´s communicative competences in speaking, listening, use of English, reading and writing. The programme follows the Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language curriculum. The frameworks focus on giving additional English support to students to supplement work in other curriculum areas. Both of these frameworks were developed by Cambridge ESOL.
