International School of Brno

The International School of Brno was established in 2008 as a non-profit organization in the Czech Republic, with major support from Brno town hall and the South-Moravian regional office. Our aim is to provide Kindergarten to High School students from all over the world with the necessary tools to become committed, lifelong learners and responsible, engaged citizens of the world.

ISB is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), Cambridge International Education (CIE) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). It is also recognized by the Czech Ministry of Education as an international elementary school.

ISB is now having a politics club. Anyone from secondary and highschool can join it. Members talk about the current situation in the world and about politicians. Members also discuss topics they want to talk about next time. Meetings are once a week on Wednesday from 12:30-13:00 in Mr. Smith's class.

25.3. 2015 Parents of two kids at ISB

Both of our kids are in the ISB primary school. We are very happy about the small classes and the learning environment in general. All the teachers at school are native speakers. The classrooms are spacious and the students are invited to decorate, equip and create their learning environment together with their teachers.
