Save the date for this annual International School of Brno gala!
Open to the public.
Compared to Chinese exam- oriented education, Wenjie likes ISB more. The assignments in China are more transcribed to strengthen memory, here we pay attention more to the development of competence.
My two boys started school at ISB in September 2015. One in grade 1 and the other in grade 3. (Both are not native English speakers.) I (as a mom) found sending them to school for the first day really scary. New country, new city, new school and even a new Language. They came home happy and just after a couple of weeks the boys started to speak English and they were really beginning to feel at home in school. The Staff, teachers and other parents have been a great help with adjusting not only to school life, but also to life in Brno in general. The atmosphere in school is really welcoming and warm. There is always a listening ear.
Also the PTA has been a great help, connecting with other parents and really feeling part of the ISB community.
So far it has been a great experience for us!
I am writing this review of the International School of Brno on Čejkovická street with great love. My son attended this school from grade 1 to grade 3. Unfortunately I had to move with my son to the States due to work reasons. We miss ISB a lot in the States and already are planning return to the Czech Republic.
After my experience abroad I can only recommend to parents that if they are considering an investment it should be an investment to the education of our children. ISB provides an excellent education!
The teacher in the classroom can spent enough time with individual children thanks to the small number of students in one class. The quality of the education is just amazing! Children’s behaviour towards each other is unbelievable and amazing too! All teachers’ attitude is amazing! Parents, if I could recommend, please reserve your time and pay a visit to ISB! You will see, that I am right. I am excited and looking forward to our return to the school. We miss ISB a lot. We are sending our greetings to all teachers and look forward to our return. With love Hana and Milano
My daughter has attended the ISOB for 3 years and she loves it! Every day she comes home and tells me all about the things that she learns. The classes are small and very diverse with kids from various cultures.
The kids are encouraged to be competitive, challenge themselves and work hard. My daughter has learned so much from this environment. The teachers are great! They are very helpful and attentive to any issue that were raised either by the kids or by the parents.
My son (5) loves the kindergarten at ISOB. The teachers are caring and my son adores them! The parents and ISOB create a great community and environment where kids from all over the world learn and grow together.
We have got three children and all of them have gradually enrolled to ISB, each of them with a different intention.
At first our older daughter enrolled into Grade 6. We wanted for her to be challenged by studying in English. She liked the school very much and she wanted her younger sister to join her at ISB. Her younger sister registered into the preschooler group of the ISB kindergarten because we wanted her to be best prepared for Grade 1 in an English speaking environment.
The last to enroll to the school was our oldest son half way through Grade 9. ISB has given us hope that he will enjoy school again.
Our reasons for enrollment to ISB has thus broadened from attractive English curriculum to individual attitude to each child.
